I read about the recent recall with the fuel system and it's exactly what my car is experiencing, but somehow my VIN is both telling me that my car has a recall at one place, and then doesn't have a recall at another. The vehicle was initially towed to a relative's residence and later towed to a local dealer, where an unknown repair was performed; however, the stalling failure recurred. The vehicle was then taken to an independent mechanic, who diagnosed the failure as a faulty fuel module requiring replacement. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, but offered no financial assi

The vehicle randomly has a yellow A! error code, then it loses power while driving, when going up a hill, sometimes barely makes it. No mechanics can figure this out and its a topic of complaints amongst numerous forums regarding this vehicle. Why isn't there a recall on this?
