I brought my Audi Q6 e-tron into an authorized dealership for a mandatory factory safety recall service. Prior to this appointment, all Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), including the front sensors, Front-Assist collision avoidance, and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), were operating 100% normally with zero faults. Immediately upon picking up the vehicle after the manufacturer's software update, the safety systems were completely disabled, and active dashboard warning lights were triggered. The dealership's service manager explicitly confirmed that the safety sensor hardware is completely intact but stated that the new factory recall software flash altered the vehicle's diagnostic tol

The occupant was temporarily trapped inside the vehicle. The manufacturer is currently holding the vehicle under an active repair order for related backordered high-voltage and electronic control modules from Germany, but has historically lacked a permanent fix for these door latch/locking so

Unintended Door Opening While Driving: The passenger-side vehicle door has popped open completely on its own while the vehicle is in motion at normal driving speeds and was caught by the safety latch. 2. Unintended Fuel/Charge Door Opening: The exterior fuel/charge door unlatches and opens on its own while driving. 3. Passenger Entrapment: The cen
