2022 Buick Enclave recalls

The electronic dash and HUD randomly do not illuminate when the car is started. After 10-15 minutes it does come on but I have to use navigation to estimate my speed. It has happened twice in the last month.

The contact owns a 2022 Buick Enclave. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, water was leaking from the overhead console near the OnStar controls onto the center screen display. No warning lights were illuminated. The contact stated that the sunroof had never been opened. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, where the leak in the sunroof was confirmed; however, the source of the leak could not be determined. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 50,230.

Rear hatch randomly opens. Hatch button sometimes works, usually not.

Brake booster has gone out at 100,000 miles. Brakes do not work when vehicle is first started. Problem was diagnosed by an independent mechanics shop. There was no warning light until after the first incident.

I have been the owner of this vehicle almost 6 months. My headlights and brake lights do not currently work because of what was diagnosed as electrical failure at the Buick dealership. There are no warranties for this issue specifically aside from the 36,000/3 year warranty which is expired. The dealership mechanics don’t know how to fix this issue and informed me it could be thousands. It poses an extreme safety risk and prevents me from being able to drive my car at any point requiring headlights.
