2024 Lexus LX 600 recalls

Lexus LX 600 2024 While driving the cars the main monitor screen which displays important information, a splash screen pops up asking for a 6 DIGIT PIN # and obscure the information beneath it. This totally takes you out of the GPS app. Loss of the GPS app while driving in a full freeway in busy traffic is potentially life threatening. Not only that clearing this PIN request the driver finds the GPS App gone. The driver is requited to cancel out of the demand for a “6 digit PIN number only to find this screen obtrusive screen only pop up at infinitum. This puts the driver and other traffic at risk. The vehicle was taken to the dealer because the contact was concerned that the vehicle was unsafe to drive. The contact was provided a loaner vehicle. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure.
