The rear steering is malfunctioning, causing the car to pull. We had it realigned twice, and it's still doing the same thing. We are told by Lexus that the rear steering apparatus is broken and needs to be replaced, at a cost of $8700 to us. Although this occurred initially under normal driving conditions, they are claiming that it's not something that is covered under their warranty. Numerous cases of faulty rear steering have been reported for the Lexus TX and its equivalent, the Toyota Grand Highlander. In fact, some 2026 Lexus TX models have been recalled due to concerns about structural weakness in the rear steering apparatus. The failure of that rear-wheel steering can lead to vehicle

The air conditioning suddenly stopped working and it was 107 outside. I took the Lexus TX to Lexus service and they said a pebble went through the condenser. I had leased the car brand new in June 2026 and right now it's October 2026. I drive mostly on residential streets. I don't actually know what pebble hit the condenser or when it happened, the air conditioning just stopped working October 8. Lexus said it could have been a slow leak or leaked out quickly and there's not way to know. Because the hole is so small, I did not hear or feel anything when driving that would have indicated a strike. . I have photos from Lexus. They sent a picture and there were at least a dozen other noticeable

Fuel indicator light does not turn on until 20 miles till empty. No indication on heads up display or info screen until 7 miles to empty and last for approximately 5 seconds, in blue, then goes away. This is particularly dangerous in areas that do not have many gas stations and in mountainous areas when fuel consumption is higher.

The contact notified a local dealer and was referred to the manufacturer. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and arranged for the vehicle to be inspected or serviced at the dealer. The dealer scheduled a service appointment; however, the dealer later declined to service the vehicle and informed the contact that the VIN was not associated with a recall. The dealer referred the contact to the manufacturer for loaner vehicle assistance. Additionally, the contact stated that the rear passenger-side tire frequ

On Saturday, August 22, 2026, while traveling on the highway with my two toddler-aged children in the vehicle, the temperature gauge entered the red zone and the vehicle automatically reduced power due to overheating. This forced me to navigate a power-reduced vehicle on a highway with minor children — a serious safety hazard. This incident occurred just five days after my vehicle was in the Sewell Lexus service department on August 17, 2026 for its 10,000-mile service and a warranty repair to the rear evaporator case (a known design defect). The proximity of this safety incident to that service visit raises significant concerns about whether the August 17 service contributed to or caused th
