June 12, 2023 · Nissan North America, Inc.

The wiper blade stop working in the middle of my windshield or will not return to correct position. I know there there is a recall on some 2022 sentras on this issues and I think my vehicle is one of them. I have always had a small issue with the blades since about a month after I bought it brand new. It started with the wipers not returning to correct position or still going for another couple minutes even thought I have turned them off. Now they have started to just stop in the middle of the windshield. This happened to me on my way to work the last time it rained and I had to pull over and wait for them tk start working again to make sure I didnt wreck. I have not had it looked at because

In May of 2026, I began experiencing vibration and steering wheel instability while going over bumps and while braking, as well as while changing lanes. This vibration and instability got progressively worse and concerning, therefore, I took the vehicle in to the dealer for diagnostic testing on 6/2/2026. The dealership diagnosed and informed me of the steering assembly failure. The rack and pinion assembly is the defective component. It is currently available for inspection as it has not been replaced yet. It may not be available by the time I receive a response, as the vehicle is deemed "unsafe to drive" by the service advisor, and I need the vehicle repaired. I imagine they will send the

While driving in rush hour traffic, I heard an intermittent vibration/noise that seemed to come and go and became louder when I stopped. As I put my car in park when I got home, I heard a loud clunk and the battery light came on. When I popped the hood, we saw metal shavings flying around. The dealer diagnosed the alternator and provided a quote for replacement. I am concerned the failure could have caused a loss of power while driving and caused an accident in heavy traffic. The vehicle and component are currently at the dealership. I have a video of the metal shavings that I can provide if needed, but I am unable to upload to the website.
