I own a 2022 Porsche Cayenne. The vehicle intermittently displays a red “Occupant seat belt not fastened – Fasten seat belt” warning and sounds the seat belt warning chime while the front passenger seat is completely unoccupied and nothing is placed on the seat. This problem first began intermittently in approximately 2025 and has continued to occur. In September and October, 2026, the problem occurred again for over one week now while I was driving. The front passenger seat was completely empty, but the vehicle indicated that an occupant was present and needed to fasten the seat belt.
