Yes, the vehicle is available upon request. While operating my vehicle I experienced multiple serious mechanical and safety related issues including: A burning/ overheating smell coming from the center consol area, senor malfunctions, unexpected gear shifting while driving. The unexpected gear shifting contributed to a motor vehicle accident. The vehicle did not operate in safe or predictable manor. At this time the vehicle has not been reproduced or confirm by a dealer. The vehicle was inspected by the manufacturer. Yes, there were messages and symptoms and first appeared 3/5/2024
The contact owns a 2024 BMW 330I. The contact stated that after starting the vehicle and shifting into reverse(R), while reversing out of a parking space, the accelerator pedal was slightly depressed and the engine revved high, and the contact slightly depressed the accelerator pedal again before the vehicle suddenly unintendedly accelerated and crashed into a stone column before coming to a stop. During the crash the vehicle sustained extensive damages to the rear passenger’s side vehicle and the door. The stone column was also damaged. No injuries were reported. A Police Report was taken at the scene. The vehicle was first driven to the residence and then to the body shop the following day
