RE: Federal Safety Defect Crash Report & Evidence Preservation Notice Associated Recall: NHTSA Recall 24V-104 (BMW Integrated Braking System Defect) VIN: [XXX] Vehicle: 2025 BMW 330i Date & Time of Incident: [XXX], at approximately [XXX] INCIDENT SUMMARY & DEFECT DESCRIPTION: On [XXX], at approximately [XXX], I was operating my 2025 BMW 330i (VIN: [XXX]). While executing a reverse maneuver, the vehicle experienced a sudden electronic failure of its Integrated Braking (IB) system. The brake pedal instantly locked up, becoming rock-hard and completely unresponsive to mechanical pedal force. Due to the complete loss of power braking assist, the vehicle could not be slowed or stopped, causing a
Before the collision, my 2025 BMW 330i stalled when I tried to accelerate, so I moved into the right slow lane. The vehicle also stalled during the collision. My VIN lookup shows an unrepaired recall involving the starter-generator. I do not know whether the recall issue caused the stalling. My windshield was foggy, limiting my visibility on the left side. I could see to the right and saw another driver trying to go around me. During impact, I tried to regain control, but the steering wheel felt stuck. My vehicle rolled over. I cannot determine whether the visibility or steering conditions contributed to the crash. Dealer refused to let me inspect the vehicle, would not release the footages
I have had to replace 6 of these tires on all wheels within in year as they develop bubbles even after almost being new with little mileage. I know of others who have similar problem. The service persons tell me that I am not alone with this issue. My son in his brand new BMW with same tires just got a bubble with 3K mikes on it.
My car was parked overnight, and the windshield had a huge crack from the bottom left (meeting at the hood) all the way to the middle of the windhsield. There is no sign of a physical impact that caused the damage such as a rock. I took the car to the dealership, and they confirmed it was a clean break and they don't see any impact damage either. They called in BMW North America's master tech to try and approve the warranty claim, and he ultimately denied the claim as I had a radar detector on my windshield, and the small suction cup had enough tension to crack the windshield from the hood of the car to about 3 inches where the radar detector sits. I believe if a suction cup from a small rad
I live in a suburban area of [XXX] where street lighting is sparse. At night, I depend on the rearview camera of my BMW 330i XDrive to help me park or back out of my driveway. When I shift into reverse, the view within the green pathway is acceptable, but visibility outside this area is quite poor, making it hard to clearly see or spot any objects or animals near my car, which raises safety concerns. This limited visibility occupies nearly 65% of the vehicle’s screen space, complicating the detection of nearby objects. I own two BMW 330i XDrive vehicles, and their rearview cameras behave very differently at night—one delivers a clear image, while the other does not. I brought the car to the
