I am reporting an issue with my 2019 Chevrolet Camaro 2LT RS involving a faulty torque converter. The vehicle began showing symptoms consistent with transmission shuddering and performance issues. After diagnostic evaluation at a certified Chevrolet dealership, I was informed the torque converter needs to be replaced and the transmission fluid flushed. Upon researching, I found that this problem is covered under a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) issued by GM for this specific model and year, indicating it's a known issue. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who diagnosed a failure with the instrument cluster. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and the contact was informed that the part had been discontinued. The failure mileage was 102,000.
