2023 Ford Expedition EL recalls

A few months ago, I noticed there was a delay in the power running board on the drivers side. The passenger side running board came up but the drivers side would only come up after driving for a minute. Now, the drivers side does not come up, without assistance. The motor still moves. It be gins to come up, rising about an inch before immediately going back down, as if something is blocking it. It has been cleaned, free of debris, and lubricated and the issue continues. We got it back in manually, and turned them off for about a week, we continue to try, as we read things on the ford forums but no avail. I was driving on the freeway at a high rate of speed (65-70mph) and a piece of my roof rack broke off my car and flew off into the road. This could have hit a car behind us or harmed a person inside the car. Nothing hit my car to cause it to come off. I showed it to the dealer and they claimed that pieces of cars don't just fall off for no reason. They said they would file a claim for it to be covered under warranty. There was no warning prior to this happening.
