While using the cruise control, the forward vision warning system activates even though it has been turned off. This is not unexpected as the owner’s manual notes that is the case. What is unexpected is that it is virtually impossible to find a comfortable position of my head and/or the steering wheel in which the warning system does not repeatedly activate. If it activates often and/or long enough, the cruise control turns off. This is so distracting that on an eight hour trip I finally gave up on using the cruise control when it would otherwise be most useful. I wear eyeglasses, which apparently confuses the software. The Genesis representative insists this is a safety feature. In my view,

2026 Genesis G70 2.5T RWD. The navigation system is completely gone. There is absolutely no way to get the maps or even the navigation settings menu up. On every startup, you can see a part of the screen which shows it tries to load navigation, but fails every time. There are a few critical safety issues with this. To start, a main feature of the Adaptive Cruise Control is relying on GPS map data to anticipate sharp bends in the highway. If the navigation system cannot provide this layout data, the adaptive cruise control will not automatically slow down for upcoming curves, forcing the driver to intervene suddenly or risk carrying too much speed into a turn. This complaint is a follow-up to NHTSA Complaints #11714226 and #11730299 regarding the same unresolved safety defect. Since those complaints were filed, the vehicle has now been involved in a SECOND defect-related crash. I repeatedly begged Genesis not to return this vehicle to me because I believed it was unsafe to drive. They refused to state the vehicle was safe or unsafe. No risk to them.Genesis scheduled a fourth repair attempt, took possession of the vehicle, but did not repair or even diagnose the steering and braking defects before returning it to me. Despite my repeated warnings that someone could be seriously injured or killed, I was forced to continue driving a vehicle that was u

This is a follow-up to complaint #11714226 regarding an ongoing safety defect. The defect has now resulted in a crash. The vehicle experiences repeated unintended braking at highway speeds (50–79 mph) without driver input and with no obstacles present. During multiple events, the steering becomes temporarily unresponsive or “locked,” preventing driver control. The vehicle has also exhibited unintended lane departures, erratic lane changes, and unexpected acceleration following braking. Warning indicators including Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Automatic Emergency Braking, Driver Attention Warning, Lane Assist, and Master Warning have illuminated without cause. This vehicle has been pre
