Problem
Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain Genesis 2025-2026 G80, GV80, 2026 G80 "Electrified," GV60, GV70 "Electrified" and GV70 vehicles. Remedy
Owners are advised to disable the high definition (HD) radio feature until the recall remedy has been performed. The audio video navigation software will be updated over-the-air (OTA) or inspected and updated by a dealer, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed beginning February 17, 2026. Owners may contact Genesis customer service at 844-340-9741. Hyundai's number for this recall is 031G. The Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), specifically the Intelligent Speed Limit Assist (ISLA), suffered an unprompted phantom activation and electronic control module lockup. The vehicle is currently located at the Genesis dealership service center and is available for inspection. On [XXX], at [XXX] AM, I was driving 60 mph in the far-left lane of [XXX] approaching the [XXX] (near the River Road ramp). Without any driver input, the vehicle executed an unwanted command, forcibly dropping my speed from 60 to 30 mph in less than 3 seconds. My safety was put at extreme risk as an 18-wheel semi-truck directly behind me almost rear-ended my vehicle. With no left shoulder available, I had to

My new car has been into the service dept 4 separate times for the steering wheel jerking, lights flashing and beeping with no reason, no threat of crash, just driving normally on a straight road except for this last one I was driving on route [XXX] that is a very winding road but had no threats, no other vehicles at all. Each time the service department has assured me that they have disabled all drive assist features and that it should not happen again. It happened again and again with no oncoming vehicles or threat of collision happening. The last two times he said it was because of the update defaulting back to enable drive assist but they were not on when I checked. This last time he cal

This car has stalled 3 times. Randomly, but each time while car was fully stopped. Once when I was sitting in a parking lot about to pull into traffic, and when waiting for a light to go from red to green. After these two times I took car to dealer. They ran diagnostics and said there were NO error codes. They tried to reproduce but could not. I asked them to reset all computers in car, which they did. But it happened again yesterday. This third time, weather is nice, about 68 degrees. I had been driving about 3 miles, waiting for a light to change. I believe the car went into “Auto stop”, like usual, but when light changed and I took foot off brake, car stalled. It then BEEPS rapidly at me,

On June 18 at approximately 9:50 p.m., I was driving my 2026 Genesis GV80 (6,493 miles) on a highway where traffic was reduced to one lane due to road paving. Traffic was heavily congested. I came to a complete stop behind a tractor-trailer on a flat/level roadway and remained stationary for approximately 30–40 seconds with my foot on the brake. The vehicle's automatic start/stop feature had been manually disabled. While completely stopped, the vehicle unexpectedly began moving forward toward the tractor-trailer despite my foot being on the brake pedal. I released and reapplied/pumped the brakes multiple times, but the vehicle continued moving forward. The brake pedal felt normal. I attempte
