The liftgate is not merely a matter of inconvenience. Its repeated failure directly interferes with my ability to enter, exit, and safely use the vehicle. I am concerned that the liftgate could also fail during an emergency or close, latch, or operate unpredictably. Right after we first bought the vehicle, we brought it in due to the hatch not opening, approx. Aug. 2024. They said to shove a screwdriver into the hatch to get it working again. It's also listed in their vehicle booklet that is given to you when you buy the SUV. That doesn't mean there is a recall but it's pretty darn close.
