Manual transmission vehicle. The electric parking brake can automatically release when letting the clutch out with the vehicle in neutral if the brake and gas were recently touched. This YouTube video clearly describes the problem: [XXX] This can present a roll away hazard when leaving the vehicle parked with the engine running. With the vehicle in neutral, clutch in, foot on brake, engage the emergency brake, let off the foot brake, touch the throttle, then let off the clutch with the vehicle still in neutral and the emergency brake will release automatically and the vehicle will start rolling away with no feet on any pedals.
