Just over a year of ownership and the headlights are fogging over with condensation on the inside of the headlight housing. Googling this problem produces hundreds of thousands of results, including forum posts and facebook/instagram reels showcasing this issue across the BMW G42 platform. The contact owns a 2025 BMW M240i. The contact stated that the vehicle was parked and unattended in an underground garage and covered for an unknown reason. Upon returning to the vehicle the following day and attempting to open the doors with the key Fob, the doors failed to open, requiring the contact's husband to use the BMW mobile app to open the doors.
