2024 Ford F-250 recalls

Multiple times while I am driving my 2024 F250 on the highway while using cruise control, my truck's speed limit sign reading system mis-reads the 70 mph speed limit signs as a 35 mph sign and automatically activates emergency braking down to 35 mph unless I disengage the cruise control system. My local dealer confirmed the problem during a test drive, updated the software and advised the problem was solved. However, the same problem occurred several times this weed while I was driving on the highway. I believe that it is only a. matter of time until my truck causes an accident on the highway.

Wrench light on dash comes on sporadically with message that there is a powertrain malfunction / reduced power. It said the system has detected a powertrain or 4 WD fault. Reduced power may put both the driver and others at risk depending on the area in which this occurs, ex interstate. Dealer has yet to remedy problem. Car has been to the dealer service department 4 times for this issue. Codes present are U0121 (lost communication with ABS control module A), U1012 (invalid internal control module data received from ABS control module), and U3035 (communication authentication signal invalid data)

The contact owns a 2024 Ford F-250 SD. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V104000 (Electrical System, Exterior Lighting). The contact stated that while towing a trailer, several messages and warning lights were displayed informing the contact that the trailer was disconnected and that the exterior lights were inoperable. The dealer was contacted and performed the recall repair at the residence; however, the failure persisted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair.

When Google rolled out Gemini and forced it as an interface with the Android Auto (SOLD AS A FEATURE BY FORD) it was not ready. It is still not ready. As soon as I experienced the problem with the onscreen and voice navigation integration I looked for a solution. At the time that was a rollback to the older interface, Google Assistant. I was content to just use the older interface, but Google has sent out a push notification informing everybody they are killing Google Assistant September 4th 2026. Gemini AI is still not ready. At 5k miles there was an intermittent ticking/grinding noise. Dealer could not reproduce. At 10k it became more frequent. Dealer confirmed noise and found metal shavings in filter. Engine replaced per TSB. New engine failed after 100 miles. Blinking check engine light came on. Dealer inspected. Required Ford Engineer to review. More metal found in new engine. Engine replaced again.
