2025 Genesis GV80 recalls

COMPONENT & VEHICLE STATUS: 2025 Genesis GV80 (under 20,000 miles). The panoramic moonroof glass suffered a hairline crack originating at the perimeter frame gasket, with a minute ~1 mm mark present along the line. The vehicle was inspected by an authorized dealer, Genesis Corporate was notified of regulatory defect reporting, and the car remains available for NHTSA inspection. INCIDENT DISCOVERY & SYMPTOMS: On XXX, the crack was discovered while stationary, manifesting without dynamic collision or impact. Zero warning lamps or prior symptoms occurred. DEALER & MANUFACTURER ACTION: Genesis Service Center in [XXX] inspected the car on XXX and quoted ~$3,000 out-of-pocket. Pre-drop-off photos

I received a safety recall notification in the mail regarding my 2025 Genesis GV80 reference High Pressure Fuel Crossover Pipe which at this time NO REMEDY is AVAILABLE. This matter has to be resolved ASAP due to a safety hazard to me and my family.

I purchased the vehicle on [XXX], signing purchase contract and paying deposit of $10k. Monday 06/08/26, I received a call from dealership that they need to recoup the vehicle due to safety recall, explaining that they shouldn’t have sold it to me. Apparently, the recall was initiated on 03/02/26, and as of today, “Remedy not yet available”. The sales person, dealership or manufacturer, can not tell me if/when a remedy is coming. It’s been 4 months since recall was initiated when no indication when a remedy is a available. How long should it take for remedy be available? Genesis has known about the issue with the crossover pipe in the engine compartment since July 2024 and just recently notified me by mail regarding the recall. They have no anticipated resolution date.
