The high-voltage rear traction motor cable floor wire harness on my 2022 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid has experienced severe corrosion, which has severely degraded the high-voltage electrical shielding. This defect has created immediate electromagnetic interference (EMI), causing violent, deafening static noise on the AM radio ONLY when the vehicle is in motion (accelerating/driving). Toyota National Headquarters is well aware of this systemic defect under Customer Support Program (CSP 22TE09) and Limited Service Campaign (25TD01). However, the authorized dealership, Empire Toyota of [XXX], has repeatedly denied warranty coverage using unscientific diagnosis ("FM radio is fine, so the cable is fine")
