Something with the electrical system in this electric vehicle was not functioning properly as the car would go into "turtle mode" as the service department called it. 45 mph then dropping to 30 mph before reaching the dealership. My safety was at risk because driving on the highway could have had someone rear end up by slowing down. The dealership has been inspected. Waiting at the dealership since Monday Oct 12, 2026. Dear Kia Customer Care, I am writing to formally report a serious and recurring safety issue with my Kia vehicle. I have repeatedly experienced a "Power Limited" error while driving, often accompanied by a turtle icon and a "Check Electric Vehicle System" warning. On multiple occasions, the vehicle has suddenly lost power and stalled in the middle of the road. This is extremely dangerous and has put me and other drivers at risk. A vehicle should never lose propulsion unexpectedly, especially in active traffic conditions. I request an immediate investigation into this issue, along with a clear explanation of the cause and a permanent fix. Please treat this matter with urgency, as it directly

I was driving my car on the highway, then I got the message çheck your electrical system'for around a minute. Then there was a rumble or bang as if I hit something with the back, but the road was clean. Then the car started slowing down and I drove to the side. I got out of the car and saw white smoke coming from under the car in the back. I started opening the hood and trunk in the back to find out, where the smoke came from. It was nothing to see. Because it was an electrical car I assumed, that it could start burning, when it smells like smoke and looks like smoke. So I called 911 and told them, that I think my electric car is starting to burn, where I am and that nobody was injured. I to

I got into my car in a hurry i put my car in drive as i was closing my driver's door and took off and because the door wasn't fully closed the parking brake engaged itself but the power over comes the parking brake, when i let off the throttle the rear wheels locked up causing the car to slide out of control. I pushed on the throttle again to unlock the rear wheels causing me to swerve in the other lane and almost crash into an incoming car. I tried to turn off the brake and could not without stopping the car so i had to skid out of control again stopping to turn it off.
