I am reporting a serious safety concern involving our 2020 Ram 1500 Rebel. The vehicle has experienced repeated incidents of unintended acceleration, where it accelerates without the driver pressing the accelerator pedal. This problem has occurred on multiple occasions and presents a significant risk to the driver, passengers, and other motorists. The vehicle previously displayed diagnostic trouble code P2138, which relates to the accelerator pedal position sensor circuits. We are concerned that this may indicate a malfunction involving the electronic throttle control or accelerator pedal system, although the exact cause has not been confirmed. The contact owns a 2020 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving on the freeway at approximately 65 MPH, the turn signals activated without driver input and would not turn off. Additionally, an unidentified audible alert sounded during the failure. The failure recurred multiple times. The contact researched the failure and identified similar complaints involving other 2020 Ram 1500 vehicles. A local dealer was contacted and informed the contact no recalls applied to the vehicle, while advising of diagnostic fees. The failure mileage was approximately 61,000.

They said they were reading all the sensors in all 4 tires and they said the problem was in the sensors in my vehicle. Is this the same problem that is happening to the 2026 models. 09

On August 11, 2026, following substantial rain, the engine unexpectedly stalled three times while the vehicle was being driven. The most serious occurrence happened at approximately 70 mph in heavy highway traffic. The engine stopped and gauges dropped to zero, while electrical accessories and infotainment remained powered. The vehicle restarted immediately but would stall again if shifted out of park. This occurred several times before staying on. No check engine light appeared at any point indicating an issue. Other stalls occurred at lower speeds. I subsequently discovered significant recurring water intrusion into the rear cab. Water visibly drips from both upper corners of the rear-wind

The HVAC heater core assembly failed internally. The machic mentioned that this componet is "going out" in these vehicals. He refered me to the dealership. This should be a recall. I was put at severe risk because the the vehicle had a sudden, severe loss of forward visibility while in motion. The failure caused an oily, chemical mist of ethylene glycol coolant to spray out of the defroster vents directly onto the windshield. This film could not be cleared by windshield wipers or standard defogging functions or whiping the windshield internally. It smeared across the glass, causing catastrophic blinding glare from oncoming headlights and traffic, creating an immediate and extreme risk of a c
